Mr. McLaughlin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s in Coastal Engineering, with a focus on environmental impacts and climate change. His expertise lies in coastal restoration, storm surge analysis, and infrastructure design, particularly in rubble mound structures and armor stone revetments. With advanced proficiency in modeling software such as MIKE21, MIKE3, Delft3D, and IH2-VOF, he brings exceptional skill in sediment transport modeling, hurricane impact assessments, and wave overtopping analysis. Mr. McLaughlin excels in developing and applying cutting-edge hydrodynamic models to tackle complex coastal and environmental challenges. He is committed to creating innovative, sustainable solutions for shoreline protection and flood risk management, with extensive experience in the design and implementation of coastal infrastructure projects.

Cody joins us from Canada, bringing with him not only his technical expertise but also his adventurous spirit and his loyal companion, Balto the dog. Outside of work, Cody enjoys staying active, whether on the volleyball court, hiking trails, or skiing down snowy slopes. A lover of the outdoors, he often reflects on swims in Canada’s pristine lakes. When he’s not exploring nature, Cody dives into epic fantasy novels or takes in the vibrant energy of live music events.
