Miss Murielle van Pampus Joins The CDR International Team

After earning her Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Delft, Murielle went on to complete two Master’s degrees in Hydraulic Engineering and Geo-Engineering. In her thesis, she integrated both fields by developing a predictive model for mangrove tree survival under varying wind and wave conditions, incorporating soil properties.

Before joining CDR as a Hydraulic and Geo Engineer, Murielle worked at Iv, where her focus was primarily on dike design, with a strong emphasis on implementing nature-based solutions and enhancing biodiversity in dike projects across the Netherlands.

Outside of work, Murielle enjoys playing field hockey, baking delicious desserts, and making her own jewelry—a skill she honed through several goldsmithing courses. During the summer, she can often be found sailing, a passion that fuels her love for the ever-changing landscape of the Wadden Sea, though she dreams of one day sailing to the Azores.

We’re thrilled to welcome Murielle as she takes the next step in her career and look forward to collaborating with another expert in the field.
