The official kick-off of the dredging and reclamation works in the Port of Payra, Bangladesh has taken place.
This project is to further strengthen the economic position of Bangladesh in the region, by enabling larger size vessels to sail approx. 80 km of the Rabanabad channel towards the port.
CDR International – with partners Deltares and DevCon – is involved in the design verification and day to day supervision of the works. Client is the Payra Port Authority (PPA) and Jan De Nul (JDN) de Maritime Contractor.
