As of 01 November 2022, Leon Brok (MSc.) joined CDR International as a Project Engineer. Leon received his BSc. in Civil Engineering at the Rotterdam University of Applied Science in 2017. His graduation research concerned identifying the morphological behaviour of the Bago River in Myanmar, and testing innovative yet simple survey methods to be implemented locally. In September 2022, Leon graduated from the Technical University Delft, obtaining his MSc. in Hydraulic Engineering, specializing in River and Coastal Engineering and Environmental Fluid Mechanics. His graduation research concerned identifying the influence of various natural processes and anthropogenic activities on the morphodynamic behaviour of the Lower Paraná Delta channel network in Argentina.
Parallel to his study, Leon has obtained working experience at various engineering companies and consultants. Among other subjects, he has worked on design drawings and calculations of simple civil engineering works, performing spatial analyses contributing to urban flood safety and sewage design projects and advisory work on process- and cost-related bottlenecks in large Dutch infrastructural projects. CDR welcomes Leon in the engineering team.
